Hi all,

It's been a long road but I am officially a newly qualified teacher (NQT) after completing the PME in Primary Education course in Hibernia College. I could scarcely have imagined where the road would lead when I began the course in 2018 and I attended orientation in Dublin in the Aviva stadium. Since then I have done placements, assignments, substitute work, completed a 10,000 word research project on the benefits and challenges in using assistive technology (AT), done a lot of reading, and established a network of teachers to work with in future.

I am currently working as a substitute teacher in different schools, I am applying for teaching jobs in schools for the coming academic year 2021/2022, and I will be working with different families on the Summer Programme (previously known as July Provision) this summer.
